Unemployment In India



Unemployment in India is a glaring problem. Unemployment in the educated people is all the more grim and serious. The Government has miserably failed on this front. All our plans stand null and void when this stupendous problem confronts us. The lone registers of employment exchanges are full and over flowing. The authorities feel helpless before the gigantic problem which increasing by leaps and bounds. Thousands of graduates and postgraduates come out of the portals of universities. They want job. They want honourable way of living. They want two square meals. How long they be parasites on their parents? They want to be self-sufficient. They wish to stand on their own. But the answer to it is big ‘NO’.

Changing Fashions in Dress

Fashion is as old as the worked itself. The first man in earth dressed himself and his consort with beautiful articles of stone, shell and bones. He covered hi person with leaves and branches ofthe trees or even with the skin of wild animals. Then he learnt the art of stiching, draping and sewing. He wore very simple dress. Loose clothes both of cotton and wool were his liking. He believed in everything simple anf unshowy. His main aim was to cover his body.

Essay on Easter

Easter is one of the main events of the year for the Orthodox Christians and the most important Orthodox holiday. The word “Easter” comes from Greek and means “deliverance”. On this Holy Day we celebrate the deliverance of all mankind from the devil’s bondage through the sacrifice of Christ the Savior and the gift of eternal life and bliss. Easter Day

Easter is one of the most important Christian festivals which is observed in March or April. On this day the Christians celebrate the resurrection of Jesus after his death by crucifixion which is believed to have happened during this time around 30-33 A.D.
In Western Christianity, Easter always falls on a Sunday between March 22 and April 25. The following day this is an Easter Monday, a holiday in countries having predominant Christian tradition.
In Western countries, Easter marks the end of the forty days of Lent, a period during which the Christians observe fast and penitence in preparation for the Easter which begins on Ash Monday and ends on Easter Sunday.

Holi-The festival of love and joy

Holi is a festival of colours which generally falls on a full moon in March.. It is also a festival of love and unity and celebrates the triumph of good over evil. The festival is celebrated with lot of pomp in north India.

A MEMORABLE HOLI

Oh what fun we had on the Holi that year. The tradition followed was digging the lawn generating some mud, throwing some buckets of water and then the prey. So, it was a very earthy kind of Holi that we played that year in the hostel. The good part was that the prey was asked get the buckets herself.

Then everybody decided that we have grown up enough to have our first doze of bhang. A thandai was prepared, somebody had stored a little milk from the morning breakfast. There was one very enthusiastic girl who sneaked in the maximum share. High on the spirit of the festival we had the mandatory dance on the Rang Barse bheege chunar wali....

Colours, gujiyas and fun...I love Holi so much

Holi happens to be my favourite festival. I particularly enjoy the colour part of it. I keep stocks of every colour but red happens to be my favourite. The other ones specially, the purple is one I hate to use on Holi. It never goes and makes one look so bad.

A COLD DAY

Teacher's Day


In India, 5th September is celebrated as Teaches' Day as a mark of tribute to the contribution made by teachers to the society. 5th September is the birthday of a great teacher Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, who was a staunch believer of education, and was the well-known diplomat, scholar, President of India and above all a Teacher.

When Dr. Radhakrishnan became the President of India in 1962, he was approached by some of his students and friends and requested him to allow them to celebrate 5th September, his "Birthday". In reply, Dr.Radhakrishnan said, "Instead of celebrating my birthday separately, it would be my proud privilege  if September 5 is observed as Teachers' Day". The request showed Dr.Radhakrishnan's love for the teaching profession. From then onwards, the day has been observed as Teachers' Day in India.

If we begin a work with earnestness (sincerity), its completion is sure shot. There is no hitch or hesitation in its fulfillment. There arise hundreds of difficulties and troubles at the beginning stage. If your start is ok the end will be ok too. There is no doubt in the rewarding end. It is both bright and brilliant.

Diwali - Festival Of Lights



The Hindus in India celebrate many festivals. The Diwali or Dipabali is one such festival. This festival is celebrated on the new moon day after the Dasahara. The Goddess Kali is also worshipped on this day. This is a festival of lights. The Hindus decorate their houses with lights. The rich and the poor, both celebrate it. They use oil-lamps and candles at night. In the evening a holy offering of Shradha is made by the people for their fore-fathers. Goddess Kali is worshipped late at this night.

of books. It has a joy of its own, which perhaps nothing else
can give the pleasure one derives from reading is procreative
as well as ennobling. Reading gives us peculiar joy and we

An old man, especially a rich old man, thinks hundreds of ways to revive his youth. He dyes his hair black. And if he is bald headed, he tries many hair-growing agencies. He is deceived. Still he does not learn any lesson. He purchases a number of wigs to suit the occasion. Nut his fondness for growing young and buoyant never diminishes. He has enough and to spare. He wants to spend his money either in building a bungalow of his dream or marrying a young paragon of beauty of twenty one. He has no control or restraint on him. If he is asked to refrain from such acts of hastiness, he frowns, he gets annoyed.

We live in Delhi. It is a big city. Millions of people inhabitat it. All are not rich. All are not poor. The middle class has a sufficient population of its own. The life is very hectic. God of Wealth has been extra merciful to them. They enjoy all the conceivable facilities. They are still greedy to acquire more riches, thus depriving of their poor brethern.
