UNINVITED GUESTS

It is against all norms of hospitality and courtesy to go uninvented. Uninvented guests are not welcome. They are a constant nuisance. They are not loved and respect. They are hated and spurned (rejected with scorn). They are not offered a respectable seat. They are given a raw treat. They are served cold and insipid (tasteless) food. People think of hundred and one ways to put them off on one excuse or the other. But such uninvited people are obstinate and shame-proof. They do not mind anything because they have no mind to mind.

All of us very well know  that our respect is in our own hands. We can make it and heighten it sky-high. We can also mar it by stooping too low. If we visit a friend or a relative which is customary, then our honour is not at stake, but if we stay and dine on our own without a single request from him, our actions are forced ones. The very charm of guest is lost. We lower our prestige. We fall in his estimation. We have no face to show in future. This world is full of all types of people. There are some who are extremely sensitive. They are self-conscious. They take an extra care of their honour. They will never go even if invited a number of times. But perchance if they go, they will be given a warm welcome. They will be requested time and again to take it, taste it and sip that.

But an uninvited guest has no place of honour anywhere. He is a joy-kill. He spoils the mood of the party. Other guests do not attend to him. He is disliked in every company. He gets on our nerves. ho bothers us to death. Then he is surely not a guest, he is rather a beggar. He seeks alms. He is entirely at your mercy. Take pity on him or shun him is in your hands.

Uninvited  guests visit every home, party or wedding. They come in their best. They try to be extra social. They try to amuse you without any rhyme or reason. They show teeth which are definitely dirty and unbrushed. Such unwanted people should be kept at an arm's length.
